ACV Refresher

When I first tried this mocktail, I was shocked at how much it truly did taste like a margarita! It's an ideal combination of tart and salt and is perfect for a hot day! This beverage would be great to enjoy if you're looking to enjoy a calorie-free (or pregnant) happy hour. The apple cider vinegar aids in digestion and can lower blood sugar, so this drink is especially great right before a meal. Hope you enjoy!


  • 1 oz. unfiltered apple cider vinegar (ideally label would read "with the mother")

  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice (2 limes total needed)

  • 1 can citrus club soda/seltzer of your choice (black cherry, orange, lemon lime LaCroix/Bubbly/Waterloo, etc.)

  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt (+extra if you choose to garnish the rim of your glass)


  1. Slice one half of a lime into quarters. Rim your glass with the edge of the lime. Then, pour a bit of sea salt on a flat plate and rim your glass in the salt.

  2. Fill glass with ice to the hallway mark.

  3. Pour 1 oz. of apple cider vinegar into the glass.

  4. Pour 1 oz. fresh lime juice (about 1 lime) into the glass.

  5. Slowly pour club soda/seltzer into the glass until about 3/4 full.

  6. Add 1/4 tsp. sea salt.

  7. Mix/stir with a knife/cocktail stirrer.

  8. Garnish with a lime wedge or fruit of choice.
