This recipe has come to the rescue multiple times when I have been in need of something sweet! I have also been guilty of having multiple avocados that are ripe and ready to use at the same time! It seems like they always all ripen at once! Instead of force feeding my family ready-to-eat avocados, I whipped this up and my kids had no idea they were eating avocados!
This mousse is creamy and thick! It is completely Paleo and would be great if you're trying to avoid sugar, but still craving something a bit sweet. Enjoy!
3 medium avocados (about 275g)
1/4 c. honey (about 75g)
6 tbsp. 100% cacao
3 tbsp. almond butter
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
Blend all ingredients together in a mixing bowl either by hand or with a hand mixer. You could also use a food processor or blender for this!
Enjoy right away or later. Store in the refrigerator.
*Makes 5 servings.
